Hi! I’m Michelle. I recently quit my job as a non-profit executive and moved to Florida with my husband and two sons, aged 8 and 10. During this self-imposed sabbatical, I’ve been cooking and baking more than ever, which has given me lots of time to experiment with making super flavorful non-dairy meals and treats. My husband and sons have varying degrees of dairy sensitivities – my husband gets nauseous if he walks by butter, my youngest son can sometimes tolerate aged cheeses – but we just avoid dairy altogether as a family to keep it simple.

I sometimes avoid gluten; other times, I relish in it. All things in moderation. And I cook better with a glass of wine in my hand. If you, too, are avoiding dairy, I hope these recipes are helpful. Please feel free to ask questions or make comments. Thanks for visiting!
